| Here, you will see an impressive display of old car parts, cables, timbers, buckets, bolts,ore carts and tools from abandoned mine sites,hauled back to the ranch to be turned into useable parts for machinery. He converted old car engines to run his various gold stamp mills and ore separators. Today, this historical site is in “arrested decay”, which the National Park Service is dedicated to preserve for future generations to appreciate how the early settlers survived the rigors of desert life. |
