The Jack-O-Lantern Tavern on Route 3, White Mountains. Remodeled in 1933, it was a popular eating place with historical connections including a bake oven, plank walls, and a hidden stairway. The main dining room seated 75, Dutch room 50, and Old Colonial Blue room 30. Meals were available at all hours, and unique White Mountain gifts were for sale. Also offered rooms for tourists. |
