Christ Episcopal Church, from Johnson Square, Savannah, Georgia. Georgia's first church, (founded 1733). The present building, third on this site, was constructed in 1838. Among the church's famous clergymen were John Wesley and George Whitefield, founder of Bethesda. The first Protestant Sunday School in the world was organized here.
