The U. S. ARMY HAWK (called the "Homing All the Way Killer") is a versatile missile system designed to defend against enemy attackers flying at lowest altitudes to escape detection. Approximately 16 feet long and 14 inches in diameter, it is highly mobile and can be moved via highway, by small trucks or by helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft. Capable of operation at fixed installations or with fast moving Army forces in field. Raytheon Manufacturing Co. is prime contractor for HAWK. This is No. 21 of the 1959 NABISCO Shredded Wheat series.
