The envelope features a large purple octagonal cachet commemorating the service which ran from Holyoke-Northampton-Westfield and Springfield-Hartford, dated March 15, 1928. A circular postmark from Holyoke, Mass. is dated March 15, 1928. The envelope is franked with a 10 cent Lindbergh airmail stamp and is addressed to Ernest Smalley in Detroit, Mich. The reverse side shows a receiving postmark from Detroit dated March 16, 1928. |
