| The Stadium and High School site covers four city blocks. The Stadium is fully lighted for night football games, and was the first and best lighted stadium in the West at the time the lighting system was installed. The stadium is used both by high school athletic teams and by the University of Texas College of Mines. Outdoor pageants and Easter Sunrise services also are held in the stadium. It has a seating capacity of 10,000. |
