Showing Philadelphia Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Erie and Indiana Halls. Owned and maintained by the Loyal Order of Moose at Mooseheart, Illinois, forty miles due west of Chicago on the Lincoln Highway. Here 1400 dependent children of deceased members of the Fraternity, gathered from all sections of the United States and Canada, are being trained for life in a model little city of homes, schools, churches, shops, stores, offices, playgrounds, parks, etc. The Child City covers in all over two square miles in area and comprises 180 buildings. |
