| The Lodge was operated as St. John's High Point Inn from 1890 to 1908. In 1910 the property was bought by Col. Anthony R. Kuser and the Inn was remodeled into a home. In 1923 the property, some 10,000 acres, was donated to the State and made into a State Park that same year. In the foreground is Lake Marcia. |
