NOYES BUILDING: This building was named after Newton E. Noyes, who was president of Snow College for many years. It houses the administrative offices and the departments of humanities, business, education, social science, and home and family living. It is one of the old pioneer landmarks of Sanpete County; built by pioneers at great sacrifice, it is the oldest building on the campus. Snow College (a branch of Utah State University) is said to be the oldest two year College west of the Mississippi, founded in 1888. |
