The Golden Altar (Altar de Oro) at the Church of St. Joseph. According to the text, it was carved by Spanish artists in 1612 for the original church in old Panama. The altar was saved from destruction during a raid by the pirate Morgan in 1671 and moved to the new church around 1677.
