| The Westerly Library celebrating its 100th anniversary in 1994, with crowds gathered outside. The library was erected in 1894 as a memorial to veterans of the civil war. Major donors to the building were Stephen Wilcox and WM. D. Hoxie. A new addition to the Library was completed in 1992. |
