| Built by Richard Smith in 1639, destroyed by fire in 1675 and rebuilt in 1678. It is the only house left standing where Roger Williams, the State's founder, preached. The house is authentically furnished, and the grounds feature an 18th century garden and the grave of 40 warriors. |
