| Most fittingly named, as each year several weddings are solemnized there. The first one was that of Miss H. Elgiva Howe, daughter of the Caverns' discoverer, to Mr. H. S. Dewey, on the 27th day of September, 1854. Modern passenger elevators, electric lights, well-kept walks, pure air, large passageways and high ceilings make the trip through the most spectacular natural wonder in Northeastern United States easy and never-to-be-forgotten. |
