Colored illustration of the Mount of the Holy Cross, named for the distinctive cross-shaped snowfield on its face. A rushing river flows through a rocky valley in the foreground. Handwritten message dated March 1, 1908 reads: "Here is a verse I found on a telegraph pole in the Rockies - 'Cheer Up' A Young man who lived in Sobosis, Had suffered from Tuberculosis - Now he's well and alive and weigh 105 Just by taking Fresh Air in Large Doses - J.R.B."
