Center of Horseshoe Falls, Niagara Falls
Additional Details:
| While it is called Horseshoe, the curve has little resemblance to a Horseshoe. It is more the shape of an inverted “A.” Looking upward at the massive, frowning cliff with the spray wetting our faces, the roar of the cataract is so great that it prevents communication save by signal and pantomime. The estimated depth of the water where it plunges over the precipice of the Horseshoe Fall is 20 feet. |
