This is one of the many wonders in this underground Fairyland in NEW MEXICO. The orange coloring on formation is caused by iron oxide stain. Above the giant formation is a hole about four inches in diameter that through the ages, water has trickled to form this great formation. A comparison with the Ranger in the foreground shows its giant size. The temperature in the Caverns is 56° summer and winter. The Caverns are open the year 'round. Cavern Trips: 9-10-11-12:15 daily.
