| This is a welcome sight after your downward trip over winding paved trails in this underground Fairyland in NEW MEXICO. In the Dining Room, which is 754 feet below the surface, there is a short stop for a box lunch and hot coffee before the trip through the Big Room, then on out by trails or elevator. The temperature in the Caverns is 56 degrees summer and winter. The Caverns are open the year 'round. |
