The Queen's chamber is small in comparison with the other rooms in the Caverns but the draperies are the largest in the Caverns, and it excells in the beauty of its formations, which hang in folds from the ceiling. The orange coloring that is seen when the lights play upon them is caused by iron oxide stain. The temperature in the Caverns is 56° summer and winter. The Caverns are open the year 'round.
