This giant formation is found in the Big Room which is about 2,000 feet long, 1,100 feet wide and the ceiling arches 285 feet above the floor. After lunch, which is served in the Caverns, this formation is seen from the winding paved trails in this underground Fairyland in NEW MEXICO. The temperature in the Caverns is 56 degrees summer and winter. The Caverns are open the year round.
