A young girl with curly blonde hair, wearing a white sailor dress with a blue collar and a sailor hat, salutes while sitting in a large golden wicker basket. The basket is overflowing with blue forget-me-not type flowers, and a small pink tag attached to it reads 'Express'. The words 'Best Wishes' are printed in golden script at the bottom of the card. The child is wearing black stockings and brown shoes. A faint name, possibly 'Ethel', is visible on the front of her dress.
