Scene depicts two swallows in flight above a seascape with sailboats and a setting sun. One swallow carries a four of diamonds playing card, the other a small letter. In the foreground, a wicker basket overflows with blue forget-me-not flowers. Gold accents embellish the birds and basket. The Greek text "Χρόνια πολλά" (Many Years) is printed in the upper left. Reverse includes a handwritten message from Gertrude & George to Miss Germane Lussier in Springfield, MA, USA, and two Greek 2 Drachma stamps.
