Greetings!
I write you on the eve of Stanford's 100th year the first-day-of-issue of
this postal card which the United States Postal Service created in honor of
Stanford's centennial.
This anniversary year offers a range of memorable programs, from the San
Francisco Symphony to academic symposia. I personally invite you to return
to campus for Centennial Weekend September 28 - October 1, 1991, the
100th anniversary of Opening Day. This will be an exceptional occasion, and
registration materials will arrive in the Spring issue of Stanford Magazine.
