It is a $3,600,000 building located at the
geographic center of the campus and has 157,000
feet of floor space. The library has a
square
capacity for approximately 800,000 bound volumes
as well as space for thousands of documents,
periodicals, publications, microfilm and audio-
visual materials. It is an "open stack" facility
which provides ready access to books for students
and faculty. The building contains 122 individual
carrels or student spaces for both graduate stu-
dents and faculty.
