| Whataburger Field is the home of the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Texas League Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. Located at the Port of Corpus Christ, the stadium opened on April 17th, 2005 with over 8,000 fans in attendance. The Hooks are owned by Ryan-Sanders Baseball, a group that includes baseball legend Nolan Ryan and Houston businessman Don Sanders. The stadium is home to 70 Hooks home games each year as well as numerous high school and collegiate games. |
