In view are the remains of the once 1805 foot tunnel under the Continental Divide. It was opened in 1882 and abandoned in 1910 by the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroads. Located between Pitkin and St. Elmo, easy access 11 miles east of Pitkin. Arrow indicates West Portal.
