An aerial of Fishkill which was once the temporary Capital of New York. From 1776-1777, The New York Provincial Congress occupied the First Reformed Dutch Church located on Main Street (Rt. 52). During the Revolutionary War, the church was used as a prison from which patriot spy Enoch Crosby was allowed to escape.
