| Pictured here is the old Bahia Honda Bridge, which was the highest span in the Overseas Highway System. Built on the old Florida East Coast Railway road bed, which connected Miami with Key West in the early part of the century, it was converted to a highway in 1935. The new bridge on the right which is of conventional height was completed recently. Bahia Honda State Park is located here in the fabulous Florida Keys. |
