Completed in 1832, Old Christ Church is one of the oldest church buildings in Florida. It was used as a barracks and chapel by Union troops during the Civil War, later became the city's first free public library, and is now the Pensacola Historical Museum. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
