The Academy Coat of Arms
U.S. Military Academy
West Point, N. Y.
The coat of arms has two parts
the emblem
and the crest. The Academy Emblem is the Palas
Athene helmet over a Greek sword borne on a
shield of red, white, and blue. The crest is an
eagle with wings spread and a scroll bearing the
motto, "Duty, Honor, Country" and the words
"West Point, MDCCCII."
