Highland Park Plant - Ford Motor Company
The Highland Park Plant has an area of 278 acres. It comprises a power plant, wire plant, wool and cotton textile mills, drop forge, and vast machine shops. The Henry Ford Trade School for boys also is located here.
Lincoln Motor Company, division of the Ford Motor Company
The Lincoln plant, located on West Warren Avenue, Detroit, devoted to the production of motor cars of exceptionally high quality, and is noted for its precision workmanship. The plant has a capacity of 10,500 motors cars annually.
Rouge Plant Docks, Ford Motor Company
Docks are 1-1/3 miles long and are on the Rouge River. Here Ford ships and other Great Lakes Freighters bring in great cargoes of iron ore, coal, limestone and lumber used in the manufacture of Ford cars and trucks. The storage bins have a capacity of 2,000,000 tons.
Rolling Mill - Rouge Steel Plant, Ford Motor Company
The 14-in. rolling mill at the Rouge Plant has a capacity for handling between 15,000 and 20,000 tons of steel a month. It is primarily a merchant mill with facilities for rolling billets into bars of various sizes for manufacture into steel parts for Ford cars and trucks.
General Offices, Ford Motor Company
The main office building of the Ford Motor Company is located at the Rouge Plant, Dearborn. It is a spacious building of white limestone. The first three floors are devoted entirely to offices of which there are more than 200. Cafeteria and dining rooms are located on the top floor.
The Henry Ford Hospital
One of the finest hospitals in the country. It is open to the general public and has accommodations for 462 patients. It is a "non-profit corporation" and represents an investment of more than $10,750,000 which has been donated by members of the Ford family.
Engineering Laboratory and Airport

An Assembly Line of the Ford Motor Company
The assembly line is always a point of interest to visitors of the Rouge Plant. Here, on a moving conveyor, Ford cars are completely assembled, from chassis to finished car, and driven off the line under their own power. In addition to the Rouge plant, there are 31 assembly lines in company branches throughout the United States.
