"One of the best preserved cliff dwellings found in the United States. Constructed between 1100 and 1400 by pueblo-building Indians, it is situated high in a limestone cliff and contains 20 rooms. Montezuma Castle is located in the Verde Valley of central Arizona and may be reached by driving 60 miles south from Flagstaff through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon."
