The Space and Rocket Center's 100 foot diameter moon crater
is a replica of a landing site on the moon complete with
astronauts and equipment. It is the only moon crater replica
in the world open for public viewing. This photograph was taken
at night to show the similarity of the Center's man-made
crater and the moon. Visitors are permitted to walk on a por-
tion of the moon's surface.
