VERNON PARISH COURTHOUSE. Built in 1910, the
courthouse occupies a block in the center of
Leesville, the parish seat. It houses the courtroom
and judge's offices, police jury, the parish govern-
ing body, sheriff's department, assessor, clerk of
court, registrar of voters, social security office,
county agent and Council on Aging.
