WORLD WAR MEMORIAL, INDIANAPOLIS, IND.
This building is the main structure of the Indiana me-
morial to all who served in World War 1. Its upper area
encloses one of the nation's most magnificent shrine
rooms, housing a collection of portraits of many of the
distinguished military leaders of the Allied Nations. The
base of the building provides an auditorium and small
meeting rooms. The basement was designed and con-
structed to house a memorial museum. Today it furnishes
offices for the State Veterans Services Department.
