was located on the ground floor of this barracks.
Upham was the name adopted for this Atlantic Side
area from 1939 to 1946. The CZ used this facility as
its post office at Coco Solo until it was closed on

naval receiving and distribution point on the Atlantic

Rodman on the West Bank of the Canal. The
NPO was located in the hospital and later became a
branch of the Rodman PO when the Navy turned over
its facilities to the CZPS. The military post office is
now in the old CZ postal facility as a branch of Albrook
APO 34002. It also has another mission as FPO 34061.

building also shared by the Navy Exchange. The postal
operation was transferred to the CZPS and moved to

postal facility was located on the 2nd floor. The
hospital is still used by the Atlantic Side community
