The Grove Park Inn is absolutely unique-unique in conception, in design, in construction, in furnishing; in decoration and in equipment. It is one of the notable monumental structures of this country. Its location, on the side of Sunset Mountain, two miles and a half from the the center of Asheville, was made possible by acquisition of the mountain and of hundreds of acres of that part of the plateau now known as Grove Park.
