Temple of Vespasian. Titus, "the delight of mankind," and his infamous brother, Domitian, raised the tempe in honour of their father. Vespasian, the tenth Emperor of Rome. The Corinthian columns, still standing, are of Carrara marble. Behind them is the Church of Santa Martina, which bears the name of a building which was erected on the site of the Secretarium Senatus.
