ABOARD THE QUEEN MARY-
The 50-foot theme tower, Man in the Sea, in Jacques
Cousteau's Living Sea aboard the Queen Mary in
Long Beach, California, represents the oceanograph-
er's personal view of the conquest of the oceans.
Revolving slowly and visible from all three levels of
the Living Sea, the theme tower displays realistic
models of submersibles, divers and sea creatures at
the appropriate ocean depths. At the base is a
model of the bathyscaphe Trieste sunken below
floor level.
