| Organized in 1671, the present building was erected in 1855, on the site of that of 1712. Noted members were William Whipple, signer of The Declaration of Independence; John Langdon, signer of the Constitution; Daniel Webster, Orator Warden of this church. George Washington worshipped here in November of 1789. |
