Methodist Hospital on Union Avenue, built and
maintained by the Southern Methodists of the
Memphis, North Mississippi, and North Arkan-
sas Conferences. Located at 1265 Union Ave-
nue. A new wing has recently been added to the
hospital, making it one of the largest and best
equipped institutions owned by the Southern
Methodist Church. The hospital has been given
a “Class A” rating by the American College of
Surgeons.
