A trip to Atlantic City is not complete without a visit to
Heinz Ocean Pier, the Seaside Home of the 57.
It was
Atlantic City's pioneer pier, and is the only one now free to
the public. Situated at a strategic point, it affords a unique
view of the ocean and the Boardwalk.
The art salon presents a wealth of paintings, statuary, curios,
and other works of art. Some of the world's great artists
are represented by canvases that could be fittingly displayed
at an international exhibit. Curios, antiques, assembled from
all parts of the world by notable collectors, are on view, and
other departments prove equally interesting.
There are sun parlors and writing and reading rooms for
the comfort and convenience of the public. Motion pictures
and lectures are regularly scheduled.
Heinz Ocean Pier, in the more than thirty years of its
existence, has become one of Atlantic City's
outstanding institutions.
