Seen from the University of Maine at Machias,
the Center Street Congregational Church, United
Church of Christ dominates this view of the
MACHIAS BUSINESS DISTRICT. Built in 1836,
the church has a Paul Revere Bell, a Tracker
Organ, and was placed on the register of National
Historic Places in 1975.
