| The IBM Homestead was built in 1913 and served as the home of the Kenyon family for many years. It was purchased by IBM in 1944. It was used as an engineering facility until 1955, when it was taken over by the Education Department to serve as a Homestead for customer executives attending class in Poughkeepsie. |
