Do It Yourself
Deltiologist
by ROBERT E. WHITE
There has always been a certain
intrigue in seeking out material
that is unavailable in printed post
card form. To do this I have rever-
ted to photo post cards, and have
found great satisfaction in my hobby
of making my own photo post cards.
It takes research to find the ma-
terial necessary to make a good card
without actually taking the picture
yourself. In historical items it is
necessary to go to old books, docu-
ments and museums to obtain the ma-
terial with which to work.

You can readily see the intrigue
that would follow in the preparation
of such material, and thru the years
it has massed into quite an inter-
esting and historical file of cards
not normally obtainable in regular
printed form. I realize many collec-
tors do not like photo post cards,
but I make them to suit myself and
take pride in the results thus far.
