When the catch was good, he answered the de- mand for fresh sea foods by serving crab and shrimp from giant cauldrons out of doors. The now famous fish grotto was developed from this small beginning by the son and grandson of the founder. They continue to operate their own boats in the traditional family manner, but have supplemented their menus with de- lectable foods flown here from all parts of the world. The maritime setting is authentic; all of the sea relics and fine woods enhancing the interior were once par of old and famous ships of the area.
