U.S. POSTACE
The largest private general hospital in Colorado was
founded in 1881 by the Colorado Episcopal Diocese to
serve all patients, regardless of race, color or creed.
On January 12, 1953, the new A Wing, having every
modern convenience and the latest in equipment, was
opened, increasing the capacity of the hospital 180 beds
and bringing the total capacity to 436 adult beds and 60
bassinets for babies.
