My Paternal Great-Grandfather was Rev. John H. Smitter. His sister and her husband owned Dutch Tourist Cabins. Rev. John was visiting his sister en route to his Alma Mater, Calvin College to grade Thesis for graduating Seniors on May, 26 1927. His coat caught fire while warming his hands, and he died 4 hours later in presence of Sister and Wife and son.
