The "Arena" Looking South on Main Street
HEART OF DOWNTOWN, FORT WORTH, TEXAS
This circular, high-domed arena has 10,687 perma-
nent, upholstered seats and 4,000 upholstered chairs.
Adding the 3,000 theatre seats, a total of 17,687 guests
can be seated at one time.
The entire convention center covering 14 city blocks,
opened Sept. 30, 1968, has 26 meeting rooms, 100,000
square feet of exhibit space and a Fine Arts Theatre.
It is the most modern and finest facility of its kind in
the United States.
