MORICHES LIFE BOAT STATION. This U.S. Coast
Guard Station, shown on the upper left hand
section of this aerial view, is situated in a very
strategic location overlooking Moriches Inlet
leading to the Atlantic Ocean and the narrow
channel in Moriches Bay. These waters are used
extensively by yachtsmen and fishermen. In the
foreground is the Hi-Way Fishing Station and
Marina.
