The great steamboat Adirondack, of the People's Evening Line between New York and Albany, alternates with her sister ship, the C.W. Moorse, running the Hudson River every night during its open season. From NEw York to Albany, up stream, is a 12-hour run; the schedule down stream allows 10 hours. The Hudson River boats are the largest river boats in the world. The night boats are equipped with powerful search lights which add greatly to the entertainment of the trip.
